Each and every year, E3 is the one gaming event that unites all of the world’s gamers as we share our passion and excitement for all of the new up and coming games. E3 helps promote new game trailers, demos and keeping tabs on all of the latest news in the gaming world. Whether it’s a game you like or not, there is no denying the rush you receive when watching a new trailer, gameplay or teaser for an upcoming game appear on the gigantic screens within each of the Press Conference halls.
E3 2017 has seen a host of announcements come from EA, Microsoft, Bethesda, Ubisoft, Sony, and Nintendo – so there is a lot to be taken in. From huge surprising reveals that no one expected, to unwanted and even unnecessary games that are simply being milked for all they’re worth. So now that all of the major E3 press conferences are over and the stream of new game announcements have slowed, we can begin to sort through the wreckage.
Now, we understand that watching all of the conferences – which would fare well over five hours – isn’t always possible, so we have collected a list of some of the best and worst games that were announced at this years 2017 E3 convention.
15. Best – Metro Exodus
It should come as no surprise that A4 Games have been working on a sequel for the ever popular Metro series, as each instalment has received critical acclaim by scoring near perfect reviews for every game. So when Microsoft unveiled the trailer – which looked absolutely breathtaking in 4K – fans were beyond excited.
Metro: Exodus is said to be A4 Games most ambitious project yet and will feature some of the largest, most engaging environments seen within the Metro series.
While A4 games haven’t mentioned an official release date for Metro: Exodus, we do know that it will be arriving sometime during 2018. The trailer unfortunately didn’t mention anything regarding Xbox exclusivity, so we can only assume that it will be releasing on PS4 and PC.
