Can you imagine what it must feel like to be a successful performer? A performer that gets to dress up, push the envelope, use art as freedom, and look hot doing it; this is a dream for many people whether you are a man or a woman. As a club kid for a large portion of my life, I have met many a drag queen. It is very easy to love a drag queen. They are artistic, talented, crude, and typically hilarious. From my experience, the drag queens that I would run into were clearly men that looked amazing as queens. Maybe I just say that because I knew where I was. As of today, a queen is much more deceiving to the eye. If I was walking down the street I wouldn’t think twice about it, I would think some of the queens are straight up women. The world’s most famous drag superstar is RuPaul and it is only fitting that this list is made up of the contestants of RuPaul’s super hot reality show RuPaul’s Drag Race. In honour of the amazing eight 2017 Primetime Emmy nominations and a few wins, the upcoming All Stars season 3 and Drag Race season 10, which will air on VH1, it is appropriate to take a look at the 15 beautiful women who are drag queens. Yes, these performers could have any man fooled. Straight men you better check for those Adam’s apples; if not you may be falling head over heels for one who may have the same equipment as you.

15. Tatianna

Did I mention the same equipment? That is because our scorching hot queen turned heads in her comeback appearance in RuPaul’s All Stars second season when she seductively performed The Same Parts which details a surprise for any gentlemen who call for her. Tatianna is a beauty that comes all the way from good ole Falls Church, Virginia. Prior to her career as a performer she worked as a hairstylist. No wonder why her locks are typically flawless. Tati is an African-American and Italian mix that stands at a staggering 6’5” in heels. This queen first became a star when she was cast in season two of RuPaul’s Drag Race. When she first appeared on the show, she was pretty much new to the drag profession but that did not stop her. She was a trailblazer as a fishy queen who served us glamour, beauty, and body. With once glance, you are completely captivated by her beauty.

14. Carmen Carrera

via: glamourmagazine.co.uk

Carmen Carrera is one of the most beautiful and bravest that ever graced the stage of RuPaul’s Drag Race and spinoff series RuPaul’s Drag U. Carrera, who was born as Christopher Roman, is a transgender woman. Carmen has been very active in supporting the transgender community in addition to her AIDS awareness and activism. This Puerto Rican-Peruvian beauty is as spicy off the stage as she is on while she continues to be a voice for all transgenders. In 2014, Carmen criticized her former boss, RuPaul, for using the term “she-male” during an episode. That wasn’t the end of her critique as she raised additional concerns that she deemed not supportive of the transgender community. In 2013, Carrera was petitioned to be a model for Victoria Secrets Fashion Show. Although, the petition was unsuccessful, there were 45,000 signatures that wanted her to wear wings. Carrera can now be seen as part of the cast for the television series Made To Model: Trans Beauty In Fashion.

13. April Carrion

Via: Twitter

April Carrion from Puerto Rico is sweet, demure, and beautiful. As a contestant of RuPaul’s Drag Race season six, April lasted only the first few challenges but made her mark as one of the most attractive contestants in the history of the show. Just ask American Idol alumni Adam Lambert his thoughts on April, as it was clear there was serious chemistry between the two when he appeared as a celebrity judge on the show. Initially, April didn’t have intentions of being a drag queen but while attending one of the renowned arts colleges of the Caribbean, she fell in love with the conceptual and artistic aspect of the art form. She found excitement in being able to push the envelope of gender and through art wouldn’t need to identify as a man or a woman. In an interview with Queerty.com, April says “Through expressing myself, and becoming anything I want to be, I feel free”. Let’s hope we get to experience more freedom from this Latin beauty.

12. Derrick Barry

via: huffingtonpost.com

It’s Britney, bitch! Or should we say Barry, Derrick Barry that is. Let’s face it, no matter what the real Britney has done throughout her career, there is no denying that she is still one of America’s sweethearts and in her own right a legendary pop act. When Derrick Barry transformed into his drag queen persona, there was no denying he resembled our lovable Ms. Spears. She is a self proclaimed Britney impersonator. Derrick has grabbed the attention of our pop princess she also garnered the attention Madonna when she joined her on stage as her Unapologetic Bitch tour for the night. It seems fitting because if Britney were a drag queen her mother would be Madge. Derrick has a very successful career and has been performing for over 15 years. Her resume reads as a long as Britney’s catalogue of songs and we want more… So give us more.

11. Farrah Moan

via: twitter

If we have a Britney, then we must have an X-Tina. It seems like we are back in the early 2000’s when our two favorite pop stars were sparring it out for teen queen. Fast forward 15 years and we have Cameron Clayton of Las Vegas (a Texas Native) who is best known by his stage name Farrah Moan. On RuPaul’s Drag Race season nine, we were introduced to Farrah Moan who insists his drag name is a reference to being a whore, homage to Farrah Fawcett, and a twist on pheromone. Either way, Farrah Moan is super sexy and has one huge resemblance to Christina Aguilera. Moan does admit to being inspired the most by Christina and RuPaul. It’s a bit unfair that she was eliminated by a doppelgänger during her season. Farrah has had a bit of success prior to the hitting the reality show main stage as a popular MySpace personality under the name of Cameron Ugh. I guess like Christina, our Farrah Moan, is a chameleon. His aesthetic is fetish meets Vegas showgirl meets retro glam. Sounds like Farrah’s out to make every man’s fantasy come true.

10. Courtney Act

via: washingtonblade.com

Courtney Act is an Aussie drag queen and reality television star. She is also known as The Girl From Oz, The Babe From Down Under, and The Body-Oddy-Oddy. This super talent was also the semi-finalist on Australian Idol in 2003 and released her debut single “Rub Me Wrong” in 2004. Like several other girls on the list, Courtney was a cast member of RuPaul’s Drag Race season six and she made it to the top 3. Since 2004, Courtney has released several music singles and has been featured as herself in a long list of television shows. Nowadays, Act keeps busy as a foreign correspondent for an Australian website and has also participated in politics during the 2016 election campaigns attending rallies for both President Trump and Hillary Clinton. Courtney Act is definitely a treat to the straight male’s eyes, so don’t be scared, men; have a go. I am sure you won’t regret it.

Thick and juicy is one of the catchphrases often used by Roxxxy Andrews to describe herself. Roxxxy is a Puerto Rican and Cuban drag performer from North Miami Beach Florida. She is a beautiful woman and equally a handsome man. Roxxxy began her drag career in Orlando, Florida at Parliament and Pulse nightclubs. She is also known as a pageant queen often competing to win a crown. In 2012, it was announced that Andrews would be hitting the main stage of RuPaul’s Drag Race season five. She went down in history for lip-synching for her life against another competitor where she was the first ever to reveal a wig underneath another wig while performing “Whip My Hair” by Willow Smith. Roxxxy didn’t win season five but she was in the top 3. She came back in 2016 for All-Stars season two and made it to the final four. Best known for her glamorous looks, thick and juicy curves, and for her tear jerking moment on stage after revealing she and her sibling were abandoned by their mother at a very young age, Roxxxy has redefined what it is to be a pageant performer and has raised the bar of beauty in the drag industry.

8. Gia Gunn

via: twitter.com

Born as Scott Ichikawa, Gia Gunn, is a Japanese American from Carpentersville, IL. This Japanese beauty has also come out as a transgender woman in 2017. Nowadays, Gia keeps busy as a performer, making music with the likes of Alaska Thunderfuck, and working on the Chilean version of drag race. Although we will always remember her for providing some of the most hilarious moments on RuPaul’s Drag Race season six. Prior to her arrival to the world of reality television, Gia was a cosmetologist and hair stylist by day and drag performer by night. It is apparent that Ms. Gunn takes pride in her look and has even been quoted as not being a fan of the messy, cheap, and manly queens. Although Gia did not take home the crown she has provided fans of hers with hilarious commentary that will last on forever. Isn’t that what most men want; a funny and talented woman by their side?

7. Joslyn Fox

via: joslynfox.com

Another contestant from season six of RuPaul’s Drag Race was the incomparable Joslyn Fox. This Massachusetts native hit the main stage of the competition and quickly became a fan favorite. Joslyn is innocent, ditzy, unknowingly humorous, and very glam. While attending high school, Fox was named Patrick Joslyn and Patrick knew he wanted to be famous but just didn’t know what would be his big break. He didn’t realize that it would be his superhero alter ego that would bring him to the masses. Initially, Patrick named his drag persona Billie Wicked but it didn’t stick so he chose his last name as his first and added fox since he was told he looked like one the first night he was set to perform. Behold Joslyn Fox; a beautiful starlet was born. Her favorite part of fame is that she gets to meet and greet with fans. She has an appreciation for fans since she was one for many years. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and in this case within the humble heart of Ms. Fox.

6. Naysha Lopez

via: pinterest

Fabian Rodriguez, also known as Naysha Lopez, is a beautiful pageant queen who competed on season eight of RuPaul’s Drag Race. This hot box was eliminated the first episode of her season but is no stranger to winning a competition as she was a fierce competitor in the pageant realm. This Puerto Rican queen is from Chicago, IL and held a series of careers before pursuing drag full time; she worked in finance, is a licensed cosmetologist, worked for MAC and even as a dancer. She was part of a Latin dance company and is trained in jazz, salsa, and mambo. She even danced for Jennifer Hudson at one point. Obviously, this diva has a long list of skills. Naysha has stated in interviews that she loves being a drag queen as it allows her to express herself artistically. One thing is for certain, Naysha has the looks that could convince any man that he is canoodling with the younger sister of another superstar Latina who shares the same last name.

5. Naomi Smalls

via: worldofwonder.net

Inspired by supermodels of the 90’s like Naomi Campbell and a one of the best rappers of all time Biggie Smalls, Davis Heppenstall, of Redlands, CA, created his drag alter-ego Naomi Smalls. Naomi Smalls was the youngest contestant, at 21, on season eight of RuPaul’s Drag Race. Like her inspiration Naomi is all about fashion and beauty and there is nothing small about her. This fashion forward queen stands at a staggering 7 feet tall and that’s not including heels. I cannot even imagine what she is tightly tucking away. Naomi was one of the top three queens of her season and proudly paid homage to her inspirations by turning out incredible fashion, undeniable beauty, and “high fashion hood rat style” to the masses. Her idol, Naomi Campbell, has even said, “I’m loving Naomi Smalls. You’ve got to see Naomi Smalls, she’s great.” In typical Campbell fierceness, Smalls was criticized for posting an insensitive remark during the Ariana Grande Manchester Bombing. The post went on to say “sad to think I was LIVING at the Ariana concert while others were dying” followed by a broken heart emoji. Not necessarily the worst thing to say but it was just in poor taste due to the circumstances. Like the beautiful celebutant that she is, she removed the post, apologized, and she has now resumed back to hotness.

4. Willam Belli

via: pinterest

Willam Belli is an actor, drag performer, model, reality television star, recording artist and author. She appeared on the fourth season of RuPaul’s Drag Race and gained enormous attention as being the one and only contestant that has ever been disqualified from the series. I guess Willam couldn’t go a few weeks without some good ole fashion humping around as her disqualification was due to secret rendezvous in her hotel room with her husband. This bad girl resides in Los Angeles, CA and was originally from Philadelphia, PA. As an actor, she is most known for her role as Cherry Peck on Nip/Tuck. She has also appeared in a boatload of television series such as Sex and the City, Southland, The Forgotten, Criminal Minds, The District, The Shield, Boston Public, and My Name is Earl. Since Drag Race, Willam, has had many successes including viral music video parodies, film and television roles, three albums, two top 5 comedy singles, and has been featured in music videos by Rihanna, Lady Gaga, Todrick Hall, and Little Mix.

3. Violet Chachki

via: i.imgur.com

Violet Chachki rose to fame on season seven of RuPaul’s Drag Race as she floated to the top and took home the title of America’s Next Drag Superstar. Best known for her tiny little waste and semi-dominatrix style, Violet comes from Atlanta, GA and identifies as gender queer; meaning not identifying as masculine or feminine. That kind of sounds like a tomboy to me and what man doesn’t secretly have a thing for a tomboy? As Jason Dardo began performing drag, he found that he had a talent and decided to focus on it after deciding to step back out of school for fashion design. Although, you would think that Violet was a seasoned fashion designer with the couture that she has created. Violet has sex appeal and as Jason served up a few hot moments as solo pornographic videos surfaced of him as Violet was set to snatch the crown. In addition to being a drag superstar she is also a model, songwriter, musician, and burlesque dancer. Isn’t it time to sit back and enjoy the literary, sensual, dramatic, and musical performances of this one of kind Chachki?

via: stylecaster.com

Kurtis Dam-Mikkelsend was born in San Luis Obispo, CA and worked as a male model. In 2011, he moved to New York and began working as a makeup artist. At this time Miss Fame was created and she began modeling and performing in drag. Miss Fame garnered attention from several photographers and was featured in Vogue Italia. Miss Fame’s makeup skills have allowed her to work with several celebrities including Wendy Williams, Michael Urie, and Snooki. The most interesting part of Miss Fame is her humble upbringing. Her roots were on display on season seven of RuPaul’s Drag Race as we received a glimpse into the star’s past when she shared her love of her pet chickens. Oddly enough, it was a sweet moment and showed us how this beauty was a good ole gal from California who was raised on a chicken farm. Many famers thought she would take home the title but she was eliminated in the ninth episode. After her elimination, she began working on her music career and has since released a few singles. She even has a great YouTube channel, where she provides makeup tutorials in her Painted By Fame videos. Miss Fame has modeled during New York Fashion Week, collaborated with Prada, Versace, and Tommy Hilfiger, and is the first drag artist to be featured in editorial in Elle Magazine. This supermodel is represented by IMG Models Paris and was the first drag queen to walk the red carpet at the 2016 Cannes Film Festival.

1. Peppermint

via: ourcommunityroots.com

Peppermint is an amazing drag queen that comes from New York City. Born as Kevin Moore, Peppermint, is now Agnes Moore and was the first drag queen to openly hit RuPaul’s Drag Race as a transgender woman. This multi-talented beauty was runner-up of season nine. After starting her career performing at NYC’s historical Tunnel club, Peppermint became a permanent performance fixture in the New York nightlife scene. Her stage name comes from her favorite candy, complimenting how sticky and sweet she really is. In addition to drag performance, Peppermint is a recording artist and film and television star. Although she is most known for Season 9 of RuPaul’s Drag Race she has also appeared on CSI: NY and Ugly Betty as well as reality shows such as The Real World: Brooklyn, America’s Next Top Model, and the A-List: New York. For the full Peppermint effect refer to RuPaul’s Season 9 final stage performance challenge where Peppermint solidifies all of her talents performing a rap and dance routine to a remixed version of RuPaul’s song “Category Is” ending her verse with “P E P P E R, Bitch you know the rest…”
