Parents’ looks are often passed down to their children. So when either the mom or the dad is a head-turner, expect that their daughter will be as well. Aside from their genes, parents influence what their children want to be in life, and one of the biggest factors of this is what they do for a living. Either kids follow in their footsteps, or take a completely different path so that they can prove that they are their own person. These are just as true, perhaps even more so, if one or both parents are Hollywood celebrities. Nevertheless, for those who live under a rock, Kendal Jenner is the daughter of TV star Kris Jenner and Olympic gold medalist formerly known as Bruce Jenner, who is now Caitlyn Jenner post-transition. She debuted in modeling at the age of 14, and has been modeling for various high-end fashion brands for eight years now. Apart from modeling, she’s also had a few business ventures, with varying degrees of success. Finally, with her being a part of the Kardashian family, she’s obviously a cast member of the reality show Keeping Up with the Kardashians.

If you’re a big fan of Eminem, then it’s impossible to have never heard about Hailie, Marshall Mather’s beloved little girl whom he defends in Slim Shady’s rhymes. The Hailie of today, however, has come so far from the Hailie of the rap god’s earlier tracks. Hailie Mathers, unlike other celebrity kids on this list, has been leading a relatively normal life. Normal, but not average, because looking at her credentials, she’s definitely not your average girl. Back in high school, where she graduated with honors, she was a member of the National Honor Society, the Art Club, the Key Club, the student council, and even played volleyball on the side. Now at 21, she’s currently studying at Michigan State University.

Paris Jackson has come a long way from being Michael Jackson’s cute little girl, and we mean that in the best way possible. Being the King of Pop’s only daughter, she grew up in front of cameras, so the world saw her trade her childish looks for a cool one, as she has recently been sporting a dyed blonde hair and a nose ring. And despite being the daughter of one of the most legendary musicians in history, Paris has decided that she wants to be an actress, model and activist. In fact, she has already signed a contract with IMG Models this March, and will have her first feature film role in Gringo, where she will be with big names such as Joel Edgerton, Charlize Theron and Thandie Newton.

12. Frances Bean Cobain

Like other celebrity children who chose not to follow in their famous parents’ footsteps into the same industry, Frances Bean Cobain, the only child of Nirvana vocalist Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love, took a path of her own. Instead of becoming a musician, she decided to be a visual artist. She’s not even a big fan of grunge, despite being the one managing her father’s estate. It also took her quite some time before she publicly spoke about her father, who, to the shock and grief of the world, took his own life on April 5, 1994. “In reality, if he had lived on, I would have had a dad. And that would have been an incredible experience,” she said in a Rolling Stone interview in April 2015.

11. Delilah Belle Hamlin

Delilah Belle Hamlin is one of the modeling world’s fastest rising names. In fact, she’s earned the nickname “the new Gigi Hadid.” A high yet strange honor, as she sometimes shares the same runway with Gigi, having recently joined Elite NYC. Even though she took a completely different career from her mother’s, Lisa Rinna, an actress who’s famous for her role as Billie Reed in the long-running NBC soap Days of Our Lives, her mother is proud of her and supports her decisions. “She wants to see me succeed but on my own terms and not change who I am, like, my hair would be fine, but not who I am personally,” said Delilah about her famous mom in The Sydney Morning Herald. Hopefully, she won’t be compared to Gigi all her life.

10. Meadow Walker

One of the saddest and most sudden deaths in Hollywood is Paul Walker’s. The fact that he died in a car crash makes it all the more tragic, as Paul is known for his role as Brian O’Conner in the Fast and Furious franchise, which is all about fast cars and racing. Meanwhile, his daughter, Meadow, is already Instagram-famous at a young age of 19. Meadow believed that there was more to what happened to his father than what it seemed. Thus, she filed a wrongful death case against Porsche, as the car Paul was in, the Porsche Carrera GT, didn’t have the safety features which could’ve prevented the accident, or at least have allowed the action star to survive. Both parties have already settled on an agreement.

9. Lily-Rose Depp

It’s certainly no surprise that the daughter of Johnny Depp, one of the most handsome and most talented Hollywood actors, and the beautiful French singer-actress Vanessa Paradis, Lily-Rose Depp, is quite the looker. But apart from her looks, she already has quite the career in both modeling and acting despite being only 18. As a model, she debuted in 2015 and became a Chanel ambassador in the same year. A year later, she became the cover girl of British Vogue in December. And when it comes to her acting career, she began in 2014, and has starred in various movies two years later, such as the French biographical musical drama The Dancer, the French-Belgian drama Planetarium, and the comedy-horror Yoga Hosers, a spin-off of Tusk, which starred his father.

Cindy Crawford was one of the biggest models in the ’90s. In that decade, she was always included in lists of sexiest women, and was even once the highest-paid model in the world. Now, it seems like her daughter, Kaia Gerber, shares her mother’s looks, as the two look alike, especially when they’re beside each other. She also shares the same destiny as her mother, as Kaia had wanted to be a model at an early age of ten. Cindy, however, thought it’d be best for her daughter to grow up a bit first. “She told me that she would support me regardless of what I decided, but I’m so glad that I actually got to be a kid before having to grow up,” Kaia told Teen Vogue.

7. Lily Collins

Aside from ballads, Phil Collins is also known for movie soundtracks. His daughter, Lily Collins, on the other hand, is known for being an actress. At the young age of two, Lily Collins already starred in Growing Pains. But it was much later on that she hit it big time when she got the lead role, as Clary Fray, in the film adaptation of the fantasy young adult series City of Bones, and the eponymous lead in the romantic comedy-drama Love, Rosie, the movie adaptation to Cecilia Ahern’s Where Rainbows End. Acting definitely runs in Katie’s family. Her father, David Cassidy, was a Broadway actor, who then moved on to a Hollywood career. Katie, on the other hand, began right in Hollywood in shows such as The Division, Listen Up! and New Girl. Later on, she had her film debut in the horror movie When a Stranger Calls and the 2010 remake of Nightmare On Elm Street. Eventually, she moved on from screaming at killers to screaming at supervillains, as she’s now Black Canary in Arrow and The Flash, and Black Siren (which is also Black Canary, just in another universe) in Legends of Tomorrow. It’s kind of confusing at this point given the TV series’ multiverse setting, but it’s clear that she’s born to be the DCEU’s shrieking violet.

Regardless of what you think of Donald Trump’s looks, it’s undeniable that his daughter Ivanka is beautiful. His Saturday Night Live impersonator-in-chief, Alec Baldwin, also has a bombshell blonde of a daughter, Ireland Baldwin. But unlike Donald, who dotes on his daughter, Alec isn’t too fond of his, as he left her an angry voicemail that called her “a thoughtless little pig” back in 2007. The famed Hollywood actor’s remarks couldn’t be farther from the truth, as she’s signed with IMG Models six years later, and debuted as a model in New York Post’s swimwear editorial. She then went on to become the It Girl feature of W Magazine and Vanity Fair, respectively in May and June. And most recently, she’s become the cover girl for Elle Bulgaria, L’Officiel Ukraine and Marie Claire.

When it comes to acting range, only a few come close to Glenn Close.
